York Tuletide 13th December..avi

6201 on the York Yuletide Express passes Mills Hill. She was about 5 minutes down and at her due time the sun was hidden by a well positioned cloud, then it moved. The service train into Manchester was also late, all the people on the platform should have been out of the way.... So I don't know why I bothered, just one of those days.

Despite all those people in the way, I'm still glad you turned out to film regardless; 6201 was going like a sewing machine, despite the late running (which we made up as we went along - arriving outside York about 30 or so minutes early!).

I was not sure where to go for this one and this was the third place I looked at,. Had I been there earlier and got to the other end of the platform there was a long approach shot and with all the steam was quite spectacular, but there was no room, already several photters. So it was make the best of it..
