clark is moving faster then the speed of light?? i thought only the flash could?????

true! although i dont really remember anythin about him not being able to go faster than light hes just not as fast as the flash

he's not moving faster than the light, otherwise he would be able to avoid being photographed.

ya but he is clearly moving faster then it because he stops and stares right at the camera which from his perspective seems like a couple seconds

The photograph that Jimmy took was only a red and blue blur.

In fact in an episode of Smallville Clark says he slows down enough for the cameras to catch a red and blue blur, indicating he can go faster.

In the comics Superman is currenlty in his mid 30's and can move at 99% the speed of light, just shy of light speed. Remember that Smallville is about a young 20 something Clark, he's not as fast or as powerful as he is in the comics. The more solar energy Clark absorbs the more powerful he becomes. Eventually he'll be able to hit light speed and beyond when he's older.
