a JB brake-in chapter 22

"who is this?!" a man shouted.
"what? who is this? and where is britt?!" i asked the guy.
"ohhhh. you must be the rescue crew britt has told me about. well, britt is right here. i'll let you talk to her." the guy said in a sickening sweet voice.
"maraia? is that you?" britt said all panicky.
"britt! where are you? we're coming to get you!" i said to her.
"no! dont come! he'll only get you to. wait... we who?"
"look, it doesn't matter who is with me. where are you? and i don't care if i get hurt! joe and jacob are worried sick!"
"yes it does! i dont want you to come! its not going to do anything-" britt was cut off.
"looks like britt has learned something here. she's right you kno. but... if you really want to kno... lets just say, im looking right at you." and with that the guy hung up.
i turned in a 360. ok im FREAKING OUT HERE MAN! FREAKING OUT! i started shaking.
NICKS P.O.V.
maraia closed her phone and did a 360. then she started to shake. i grabbed her sholders and asked what happened.
"Someone has her. someone has britt. he said that he could see me. britt said if i go, he'll get me to..." maraia kinda trailed off. oh f*ck no. she is not going anywhere.
"NO! your not going anywhere! im gonna go and look for britt, grab her and make a dash for it. im fast so i can get out of there." i said firmly to maraia and kevin. but just then joe and jacob ran over to us.
"FINALLY! GEEZE! TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!" kevin yelled at them.
"find her yet?" joe asked me.
"wait- maraia, whats wrong?" jacob asked maraia looking concerned.
"I kno where britt is. but someone has her." maraia said slowly looking at the ground.
