EverQuest 2: Cool Features

EQ2 has alot of cool features all you WoW players don't know about like Climbing Walls, chatting between servers and even other SOE games, Collections, Player housing and decorating.

If you aren't playing EQ2 you are missing out.

@triptogn That is an optional method of play. The subscription is optional for bonus features, ie: access to all the awesome features of EQ2.

You can compare the two. Example in Everquest 2 Any race can play ANY class. If I want to make a Troll Paladin I can. If I want to make a Halfling Assassin I can, there is no game mechanic restricting that choice. Also in Wow you are limited in that you are unable to fight while on a mount in EQ2 you can. In WOW the groups are of 5 people in Everquest they are 6. There are many things you can compare about the two. I personally like EQ2 better but that is my opinion.

@Thiefenz That's what I meant the Betrayal Quest allows the any race any class just have to work for the more unusual combos

@Scaash actually evil races cannot play good classes and vice-versa (unless you go through the betrayal quest) but both can play any of the neutral classes, and neutral races can play any class so a human can play a Paladin but also a Shadow Knight or even a Fury. A troll can play a Necromancer or a Wizard but not a Conjurer, A Fae can play a Swashbuckler or Dirge but not a Brigand.

@deytrox It's 8 classes. You can pay to unlock races/classes. XP potions are optional and you gain XP the same as people who pay. I'm enjoying the new server and all the new people playing.

Nice vid, few things I would have liked to see also: Collection Quests, Alternate Advancement, Mentoring other players, Heroic Oppertunities - These are great features that EQ2 has over other MMOs, and why its the best!!

Next Expansion in EQ2 put in flying mounts The Free 2play EQ2 is one Server only separate from the main game. Also very limited on what you can play hold and access in the Free2play. If you pay 23.99 a month you get all the main servers do and never have to pay for the expansions so it trades off a little. I still like EQ2 better but I wont bash WoW I did play it and liked it

@faith468 This game is NOT turning free, you can play a free extended version where u can choose 4/16 race and 4/24 classes and then you have to pay for exp potions as the xp will be really low and tuff like that.
