Local Traditions series. The traditional English 12th Night Wassail which takes place annually by the oldest apple tree in the orchard at Ross Cider, Broome farm near Ross-on-Wye to ward away evil spirits, thus ensuring a good apple crop. These days, the festival is treated more as an excuse to party in the barn afterwards.
