Edward Herrmann has the most incredible speaking voice. I listened to "The Fountainhead" on cassette-- he narrated-- and he was mesmerizing. I loved him on Lost Boys, too, but that was clearly playtime for a man of his talent. VERY cool to find this actor/narrator on YouTube.

He does a great job with anything he does - especially narrations. I'm my opinion, he's so much better than JEJ. I'm an aspiring narrator myself and Ed Herrman is my role model.

I agree. As an aspiring narrator, I admire his voice and narration skills immensely. What makes him so good is that he is a terrific actor. So he knows how to bring the written word to life.

He did those commercials for The New Dodge in the 90s. You should check out his Dodge commercials, they were fun.

Polanski was in charge with the film at the time that his wife was killed, and he left the project. It's interesting to ponder what might have been.  Nichols is a great director, and one can only what that other great director might have done with it.

He also did a great job on the ABRIDGED audiobook version of "A Beautiful Mind", the Sylvia Nasar biography of John Forbes Nash. I wish he'd done the unabridged audiobook as well!
