DSAEK is a surgical procedure used to treat patients suffering from Fuch's Dystrophy or Corneal Edema. It is a sutureless method of transplantation, and uses only a small incision. Benefits over traditional corneal transplants include more rapid recovery and a stronger eye post-operatively.

Is this a complete corneal transplant? Because I saw in the video that it only replaced part of it in the center (Stroma and Descements?)

I had this surgery with this ophthalmologist. I have also had the penetrating keratoplasty previously in the other eye. As a patient, I heartily recommend this procedure for its minimal healing time and its nearly immediate useable vision.
