@camelman8402 correct, they are being held in check by the antibiotic that may not eradicate them. fact, for a cell wall active agent to work the bug must be DIVIDING
no division means no death
take streptococcus pyogenes, a microbe that is universally susceptible to penicillin, yet when customers with flesh eating bacteria (necrotizing fasciitis to my Latin friends) get this wee little beasty and take penicillin they die.

@Lymeamom truth is the bacteria dont know if the antibiotic came from an IV or oral. just blood levels and duration matter to the wee little beasties.

I would be dead had I not recieved longer treatment with anti-biotics. I have been on them for several years, because I am one of many who fell through the cracks and Lyme got into several organ systems. I never recieved IV and that is probally why I am still sick. I still have Lyme and co-infections. Please learn the truth you would have killed me with your treatment or non-treatment.

Freaking unreal. Somebody needs to beat the crap out of this dude. People like him are the reasons thousands of men, women and children lifes are lost or devasted bye this disease. I've been on antibiotics for two years for lyme and i can't even go a week without them before my MS symptons flare up or i'm so sick i can't get out of bed.
