  • Thank God for the Pullman porters!

  • @starguard My uncle recently passed 3 weeks ago. He was a Pullmar Car porter, a Navy Vet from WWII, and eventully worked his way up to being a cook on Santa Fe's "Super Chief" passenger train, retiring from the railroad in the Mid-1970's, and he always had a certain dignity about him that unfortunately is lost among the black men of today. How sad. I agree with your comment wholeheartedly.

  • Its sad that all of their efforts are all being wasted on Gangbangers and Drug dealers. I'll bet that the majority of them are all rolling in their graves right now!

  • God bless them all! What they had to endure...is hard to imagine. America..."land of the free"...well,...just read the "fine print" first.

  • No more Pullman Porters no more passenger trains
