L.W.T made the entertainment for the weekend. now that their no longer around the weekends are shite. I.T.V has really gone down hill these days. back in the 90's theyre were so many game shows that gave away great prizes. nowadays their as bad as the B.B.C

Yes, Yes I agree! Back then talent shows and quizes entertained now in this ghastly celebrity culture, it's all reality TV tripe. You Bet was brilliant, Gladiators and The Krypton Factor also great.

HAHA something reminded me about this about an hour ago and how bad the players were all those years ago. I logged on to youtube to check if there was any 'you bet' shows on here.
Lo and behold the first search result is the only task I ever remember because the contestants were so so bad.

Only 1 of the contestants was awful! I didn't make a mistake (except in accepting to go on in the first place).
To be fair to my mate though, the producers wanted to stitch up Pat Sharp because they'd found out he was petrified of spiders. Guess what 'punishment' was in each of the envelopes?
In practice, the obstacles were closer together and we did 4 circuits easily. It was so much harder when they spread them out which we only found out once we walked out in front of the cameras.

I look about 12. It was filmed in November 1993 so I guess I was 24. Just taken over being GB Junior coach.
