@Robin360 there's teams in other countries as well...Team USA just played England, Sweden and other counties...u never know wats out there for ya :-)

@laydespade LOL, I would be able to play if I wasn't serving overseas! Trust me, I'd try out for the team SO QUICK if I was back home! Good luck!

@Robin360 yea we've been to the playoff several times....Came real REAL close to the Championship game but...didnt quite get there...There's ppl from the military that plays football even reserves play...its just a matter of wat fits in ur schedule

Great post!! I tried out 1 year for the amazons and coach duncan but didnt follow through with it after the 1st tryout... now im in vegas and play for the las vegas showgirlz... so ill be playing against you soon!!

@only1me2124 Glad u stuck wit it! Football is one hell of a sport to play. Once u get a taste of it, its like a new drug for ur body....But Im no longer with the Amazons Im now wit the LA Pacific Warriors...so see ya April 16th

Like you, I (recently) discovered womens pro ball and I didn't even know it existed! I'm dying to play and always have. Are there any tips you could give me? How should I go about getting started? How are tryouts and all that? I appreciate any advice you could give me.

@Danyell30533 Glad u discovered it...its beyond great to get into...As for tips, u want to find the local teams in ur area within all the able leagues (IWFL, WPFL, UWFL, WFA) tryouts are happening before Jan. 2011, so try to go to as many as u can to get a feel if each one. If there are any women's football clinics; attend those as well. I can say that once u begin, it may be tough, but stick with it! It all worth it! Gud luck with ur finding and I wish u the best with ur 2011 season!
