Virtual memory is used for the purpose if your computer runs out of memory on your regular memory sticks it uses your hard drive as memory. The more memory you have the faster your computer will run because you have more room on the table to work with.

listen to me... do this... see your recommended amount? add 25 to that, and put that amount on the top space(initial size) and the bottom space(max size) your computer will be 3 or 4x faster than what these people post on youtube, having different numbers there are absolutely wrong.. see where i said 25? i added 50 but to be safe for you... keep 25 as your number.

I had 2047 MB RAm and I changed with 3070. And it worked for me. Everything it is ok. For now. And yes, I had reboot my system and it still running. But I don't think that 6000 will keep your system in one piece.So, good luck if you want to try.
