The BNSF Centralia illinois to Paducha Kentucky local heads north out of Marion Illinois towards Centralia. There was a brand new GENSET switcher on its first run fresh out VMV/NRE shops in Paducha. This is the same train seen in my other video of the local.Only going south the day after.

  • LOL the horn scared you!! sorry

  • Ya it did a little bit and its really jumpy but now I have a tripod so its better.

  • Ya I know i saw them on march first. It just so happened that VMV had a GENSET ready the next northbound trip. What raiload was that military train on ??

  • It is a car the is made for heavy loads you can see it has 4 trucks. Having 5 traucks allows it to distribute the weight across the wheels. Some of them are called depressed center flat car. You can see this type of car on my other video a long mixed freight train struggles up hill at 0:43.

  • BNSF Beardstown Sub. It came from Paducha.

  • The BNSF runs military stuff occaisionly but only on the local, never full trains.

  • Yeh. I thought I saw only two engines leaving the yard, but maybe I didn't see it right.

  • Good video!

  • Max, The BNSF Military train had BNSF 7721, Warbonnet 653 or close to that, and BNSF 845. I got it on video and will be added to YouTube. My buddy Doug was conductor. I did not know that is what he had on there, I just went to go see Dougie. 36 flat cars, 2 tanks in camo on each.
