  • @KazKylheku though the harpsichord was not capable of playing notes at different volumes, dynamics can be simulated by how much time u give each beat and whether or not you are using both keyboards (manuals). Because this piece is supposed to simulate the polyphony of an entire orchestra, Bach was very specific about which parts should sound louder than others in order to give the piece a concerto-like feel.
