I cannot believe I just watched that. From your Stanley Kubrick "rant" (if it's even that--more like a pedantic adolescent trying to tackle a subject they're hardly educated on), it's fairly obvious that you're not the brightest light on the street. Just another generically-minded member of the polluted newer generations who's so insecure, he can't even socialize with a camera...talk about irrelevant head gestures. And such poor vocabulary--Waltz is too brilliant of an actor to be rated by you.

2001 aside, I'm with you on this one. Avatar was basically a sci-fi version of Dances With Wolves, but worse. And why is it always the white guy/human saving the day?

Just recently I am getting into the Elton John phase too. It all started when I was driving to the shopping centre, and all of a sudden Elton John's "Crocodile Rock" song came on the radio and I really liked it a lot. After I came back I started searching for more songs from him and now I'm officially a fan. Elton John even did a cover of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" it's pretty good, but obviously the original is better. :D
