A few years ago my boyfriend of 3 years left me for another woman, asked me to leave the home we shared and moved her in. That night I packed everything I owned into a duffel bag and walked along the street to no particular destination. After walking for quite some time, it began to rain. I approached a bus stop shelter where I sat, taking cover from the rain. A bus stopped and I decided to get on. I rode the bus around the city for hours listening to this song on repeat until morning.

Hm, society is built upon sadness. That's why everywhere there's stuff to make you feel better. If we all were happy and if there were no pain, this would be as much boring as it would be without emotions. Pain, sadness, fear, ... all those negative emotions define us as who we are. We need it to learn, to be human.

Though you're right, people need to put thing into perspective more, relax a little bit. Too much people jump when they know they cannot fly. :)

people shouldn't let their heads down that easy just because they expierience a minor setback. nobody wants to feel sad, right? nobody wants their feelings to get hurt. its something you can learn to control. it could actually be very helpfull for many people. i know it helped me a lot. but you're right when you say we are a diverse species. i cant expect everybody to be like me. but im not cold hearted though, im just not easily hurt. that's a good thing you know. ik ben niet gevoelloos hoor :)

We wouldn't know art if we were a military state where emotions are frowned upon or if your philosophy would be followed. Besides, everything is relative.
