Iqbal Bano Passed Away .. Zeena Zeena Waqt ki Teh mein Utar Jayeinge Hum (Composer Khalid Asghar)

On the Sad Demise of Iqbal Bano just a few hours ago, with tear in eyes i present one of her beautiful n rare ghazal recorded at Multan Radio Station Studio under the composition of Our Dear You Tube Friend Khalid Asghar (who can be seen with Bano Aapa in the picture attached) He'll tell us more about her and this ghazal which was penned by My dear Professor Aslam Ansari..of Multan too (Hope you all know Aslam Ansari sahab as Lyricist of Ghulam Abbas' Alltime Favourite Ghazal "Maine Roka bhi nahi aur wo thehra bhi nahi")..
May the soul of Iqbal Bano rest in Peace..aamin

everytime i hear this ghazal, it brings tears to my eyes. both the poetry and the most expressive voice touch the core of the heart.. its indeed a rare gem. thanks for sharing.

Like music, ghazals are my greatest passion and weakness. I can not express how obliged do I feel to both Dr. Bukhari and Khalid Asghar for uploading and sharing, respectively, this great piece of poetry art and music.

1972 ka saal wo hey jab sha-ir ka fun abhi nikhar raha hay, leikin alfaaz ki khoubsoorti aur sha-irana andaaz apney andar aik chhupa hua toofan liye hue hein. Bohat maza aaya aur kayee acchi ghazalain zehan mein ghoom kar reh gayen. (cont.)
