CN 8001 & 1651

CN8001 & CN 1651 heading west towards Aberdeen, Saskatchewan on a CN main line. With the engineer giving us a little whistle as he passes.

Does this train really need 3 locomotives. That's going to be a lot of diesel being burned.

There were alot of cars being pulled by the locomotives. When the cars are loaded you need alot of horse power to move them.

i'm not trying to attack you buddy...i just don't think you should be so opinionated on something you know nothing about. Freight trains are the most effective way to transport goods those three engines are probably pulling 110 cars full of goods..picture 110 trucks driving around pulling the same load...isn't that a lot of diesel?think about it.
