http://www.FTV.com/videos MILAN - The luxe vibe continued with Dolce & Gabbana as the Fall/Winter 2012 - 2013 collection for Milan Men's Fashion Week saw a resurrection of the regal at the turn of the century. In this case, it was opera in the 1900s. The music was opera--Pavarotti, to be exact. Waiters in white ties served champagne to guests. The background was a rundown opera setting. Then, the regal was in the details--with suit jackets lined with gold embroidery and brocade in a unique pattern as if they were created with the idea that luxe Eastern motifs were being transferred to aristocratic Italy. Rich velvet and silk were part of the collection. Clothes were tailored in true traditional Sicilian style, according to the designers. Overcoats and outerwear abounded but so did cable knit cardigans and even luxury underwear.
