@lehtorja the Prague castle guards have almost nothing to do with the Army uniforms, unless the guards are regular Czech soldiers...the Uniforms, marching, music....it has all been the same since 1918......I am czech and today, 10/28, we have a state holiday and we had an opportunity to see that all on TV.....really believe me :) I am a Prague tour guide as well :D

@MarcoF430 Hmm - I would need a picture to believe that. The cut is very unusual for those days in Europe, especially with no boots... Open collar with a scarf... caps with a badge on top part... But I guess your references are better than mine.

These uniforms were designed by a czech famous designer Theodor Pistek especcialy for the guards of the Prague castle. There is no historical uniform.

Where do the uniforms come from??? Nothing to do with Czechoslovak uniforms in the 20's 30's, as far as I know. Why?
