im glad varimathras is gone, he betrays his dreadlord brothers in burning legion, then he betrays the scourge, then he betrays sylvanas, with his weak fail attempts to 2v1 a shammy and a huntard by summoning a demonic army that gets raped and wiped out like nothing. Waste of a dreadlord, could have been used for good use maybe, only during one WC III campaign tho :D

Combination of factors. Grief and anger over Bolvar's death, horror and rage at the forsaken's experiments on humans, bitterness over his time as a slave gladiator for the Horde, broad sense of betrayal by the Horde over the Wrathgate and their various attacks over the years. Plus he's a bit of a hothead to begin with.
