This is love like fungi, mostly underground and rich with the Sh**%T of life.

It's from Nirvana's first album "Bleach"

SWAP MEET

They lead a lifetime that is comfortable
They travel far to keep their stomachs warm
They make their living out of arts and krafts
The kind with seashells, driftwood, and burlap.

They make a deal when they come to town
The sunny swapmeet is a battleground
She loves him more than he will ever know
He loves her more than he will ever show.

Keep the cigarettes close to his heart
Keep the photograph close to her heart
Keep the bitterness close to their hearts.

  • Great! Thank you. Give us more.

  • It needs improvement IMHO. The chorus sounded really cool, but you should have kept the original rhythm for the verses. That new riff just doesn't hook me at all, it's too big and I think the new more flamboyant and elaborate melody had the same problem. I suggest trying to keep it closer to the original or at least trying a different verse riff. Also a couple of the words are wrong but most people wouldn't notice that. It has major potential tho and you are a great player and singer.

  • I love this version.

  • Beautiful Leah! Really powerful interpretation.
