I'm not saying that this version is better than the Oils version, but I like this arrangement better than the original. Faster and more guitar focused :)

And I love the horn section in this. Horn sections rock.

i think he sang it really well he can sing what ever he wants and still rocks know he is a true artist and sure i have to agree it is midnight oils song and that means something but he dosent totally suck at singing it.

You guys are absolute clowns if you think that Silverchair play this song better than Midnight Oil! Check out the DVD "Oils on the Water" (Live at Goat Island 1985) and see how its really performed. Yes, Silverchair do a decent cover, but it is nowhere near as good as the original.
