This look that 3 got in '98 definitely beats the O&O look they got now...
No offense. (The 2007 look was as good as the 1998-2002 look)

@phillyvideofan I preferred the reworked version they came out with a year or so later, with the more triumphant theme, the revised lower thirds, and the reduced transitions. The "whoosh" transition after everything was a bit much and the "LIVE" sting borders on the comical. (Though it makes sense that they'd emphasize that, the live reporting was severely cut back after News Tonight)
Still a great set and look though.

Must've been the early days of the revived Eyewitness News at KYW... the orange skyline backdrop was quickly dropped and they reworked the opens several times.

@ASKconard--I liked this look too. Especially the transitions...and the overall presentation to me seems nice and aggressive. @HulkieG--yeah, that orange skyline made the city look like it was on fire, LOL.
