The press trumpeted the arrival of the Tottenham Sound.North London club favourites at the start of the 60s,the DC5 cut several singles before reaching the charts among them 1963s Thats What I Said a canny revamp of the Chantilly Lace phonecall formula.

  • i own many of these pic sleeves. i'm so happy for the dc5 to be in the rnr hall of fame. dave's speech was so poignant and sincere. they are my fav band of the sixties. mike smith and denis payton finally got their due.rick huxley and lenny davidson, too. dave thanks so much for the great music !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
