I loved Caradines version of Bill in the series DeadWood. That's about how I would expect Bill to be. Kinda quiet, but when he looked at you you know it was time to leave or go healed

OK, I still prefer The Quick And The Dead (1995) but Wild Bill was more emotional and deep western movie. Jeff Bridges looked brilliant as Bill. It was nice to see Ellen Barkin in not typical for her role. My lovely Diane Lane was great but I think she deserved more screen time. John Hurt and David Arquette did a great job too.
I miss the 90's.

some history tellers say that bill never dated calamity jane. it was just a infaction she had for him. there is no proof that they ever romanced during his lifetime. who knows? i guess the best part is to have somebody to always love ya even in death. now thats a woman if ya ask me. godbless.

@39tommyboy The movie you mention is Wild Bill starring Jeff Bridges and Ellen Barkin as Calamity Jane. Jeff's father was the late great Lloyd Bridges.

there is a movie about him that was made in the 80s . sorry i cannot think of the mans name who played him. i know you know him though he played in the origanol king kong movie and has a brother actor and his father was famous to in movies but died a few years ago. hope this helps a little.
