@jy420 You need to calm down and recognize that he was joking.

Then he NEVER should have claimed "HERE'S A SONG. I WROTE IT FOR A LITTLE RESTURANT NAMED CHILI'S"...I work in the TV production/Video Production business & that my friend, can get'cha in a lot of trouble. Even if Guy sold the rights he should STILL get "credit" for writing the jingle. That is part of the problem in my field today. EVERYONE wants the credit BUT will give NONE.
-
@jy420 He's not talking about writing the original. He wrote a different version of it, which was used by Chili's at some point and I'd imagine that he was commissioned to do so. I'd also imagine that Bommarito sold the jingle and the rights to it and it was all legal and proper.

I wrote a response about the Chili's jingle. Rhett DID NOT write the jingle. So, did Jimmy Page play on your varsity football team?...LOL

THIS IS COMPLETELY FALSE, a flat-out lie. Rhett claims, in the video " I WROTE IT FOR A LITTLE RESTAURANT CALLED CHILI'S"...That jingle was actually written in 1983-84 by my good friends dad, Guy Bommarito, at their townhome in Garland, Tx., off of Centerville Rd., & Broadway Blvd. It was written in less than 2 hours (I WAS THERE) & is consistantly voted as one of the 5 most popular jingles to get stuck in you head

its like shut up and do it already. lol

Doesn't sound as much like the intro to Tommy James & the Shondells' "Draggin the Line" in this version as it did in the commercial.
-
good cover

yes and jimmy page was in my school !!!

I love the avett bros.
I absolutely LOVE seeing Rhett play Live. I've never seen anybody rock out as hard as he does with an acoustic. and I'll be damned if he doesn't make me laugh my ass of every time with some kind of anecdote.
