  • The best performance I've found on Youtube yet! Great articulation. My only complaint is the opening is just a tad too fast. However the perfect embellishments make up for it!

  • ¡Grandíoso!.

  • Every time hearing this is better than the last. This opening movement is what brings me to my senses if I feel in need.

  • There is no snow in Minnesota this Christmas but Handel's Messiah brings the season perfectly.

  • @vlasux Agreed: slightly too fast beginning (largo???) and embellishments are nice with the exception of the odd suspension on the repeat of the grave section.....

  • This is so amazing! We did this with our orchestra two Christmases ago... it was such a huge hit! :D

  • I love to play this on my violin!

  • Glorious!

  • Nadie como Sir Neville Marriner para dirigir éste hermosísimo "introito",del oratorio "El Mesias".

Haendel es una joya y gloria británica.

  • This is the best performance of this Overture indeed and it's almost perfect from every way.

    Danke schön!
