Sidney Rice makes a sick catch from Brett Favre in an attempt to come back vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers on October 25, 2009. The Minnesota Vikings were unsuccessful that day due to 2 Steeler TDs in the fourth quarter. Sidney Rice is one of the most talented wide receivers in football today. Sweet catch Sidney. Normally, I just post Favre touchdowns but that catch was SICK!

Sidney gets run down from behind a lot due to lack of speed. Game speed is not so much how fast you run in pads just because that's the attire on the football field. It's more of how long you can keep top speed because the football field is 100 yards long, after all.
Sidney has great game speed...when are they going to start timing player's 40s in pads ...seriously does that not seem more pertinent than wearing track suits. Furthermore he does a great job of seperating when appropriate, adjusting to the flight of the ball, and positioning his body in the most adventageous position (i.e-the defender on his back side) the moment before the ball gets there
OK just so we dont make it so that its a fight on which former min wr he is...he is obviously a mixture of them both. moss could jump and get a great catch. carter could make catches but wasnt ever as fast as moss. so if you look at both of em he is a mixture
and if anyone heard about this....larry fitzgerald, known as the best nfl wideout. says sidney rice is 10 times better at the position than he is and look who is in the top 5 for recieving yards this year sidney rice he is # 2 under andre johnson
The situation isn't far off either, if you remember when Culpepper came in after Cunningham's debacle. Sidney draws less attention however, which is good.
