Ruth makes a delicious vegan, gluten-free gravy, perfect for the holidays. This recipe is based on the superfood chia seeds and is delicious and easy to prepare.

  • wow... we dont eat a lot of potaoes in our house but this gravy made them come back for seconds... tastes awesome and the kids loved it.. thanks :)

  • I am a mushroom gravy girl, but I'll try this. Nutritional yeast is the best for thickening gravy.

My only criticisms are the containers used. I recommend that if possible, go to the bulk section where they have the glass vats full of dry ingredients and a measuring scoop. Bring paper bags with you to the store, and ratio the portions for each bag. Rather than buying plastic-packaged dry ingredients. It's cheaper, sustainable and non-toxic. Broth is easy to make at home.

    Great recipe!

  • oh wow i tried this as well and it was also sooooooooo good i really like the texture of chia seeds and love that they are so versatile

  • Looks really delicious--I LOVE nut. yeast and miso, but have never really explored Chia seeds. Will check out your website for more info on Chia, but your soft hemp looks like a must have as well. Thanks for the recipe!

  • Ruth, you're awesome. I love your products! They're great.
