SEGOVIA IS MY HERO!
-
haha his fingers remind me of a hermit crab. beautiful music. well done, Segovia! :D
-
the one video on youtube i have found of segovia playing bach like bach, not romantic era music.
-
Of course! The Sarabande is followed by the Bourree originally, but in this video by Gavotte en Rondeau from lute Suite IV (or Partita E major for violin).
-
@georgcello there is no Gavotte and Rondeau in Bach Suite 1 BWV 996.
-
very nice
-
those digits are like Italian Sausages with finger nails...amazing talent! I listen to him while I paint all the time.

No, dear Django, - such masters as Segovia, do not die. And it is unimportant, that it is not present on the ground 24 years - its surprising art will live until in the person there is a need in fine.

present??!!! you meant to say "of our time"- he's been dead for over 20 years.....
This is not Bach violin sonata BWV 1001 at all. It is the Sarabande from Lute Suite 1, BWV 996 followed by Gavotte en Rondeau BWV 1006a (which is also a violin Partita).

I love the Maestro is looking occasionally at his fretboard....but mostly at the soul of the guitar...I love it!
