  • this guy is low level taiji fighting, he hasnt developed the jin to bounce or throw people.

  • ..jin is not required to bounce or throw people... and 'he' is not low level Taiji fighting, he might be using low level Taiji fighting, but he cannot be the incantation of Taiji executed in a specific way, further as you have never trained with the man, how can you justify such sweeping generalizations...

  • i m not commenting on persons skills, he might be very high skilled

but the demo was crap. the opponents were shown just moving in,

if it was supposed to be touch based, they should have also tried close combat techniques, not just moving in

  • It's not supposed to be touch based it is touch based, it's called pressure point or touch point you choice, we did use combat techniques, but the harder we go in the more we get hurt.. check out our other videos for more dynamic apps..

  • you dont look so tough I can do that shit with my eyes closed and my feet tied to my hands

    Na not really

Impressive stuff what i like best about it is your hardly moving and make it look so easy

I could only just grasp basic wristlock techniques while making it look difficult

    Good stuff

  • lol glad you liked it:)

  • Why do these tai chi sifu and masters demonstrate thrown people around go learn jujitsu or aikido if thats what you want.. this is just embarrassing to the real taijiquan practitioners

  • Good stuff! And to all the trolls who say this doesn't work: It does! It works because of the power behind it, not because he uses this or that particular technique! Sure, the attacks could have been more skillful, but still this is much better than 98% of MA demos I have seen!

  • @TheNoeticStaytru I would root for the kyokushin practitioner, they just have more experience with real fighting. But, if Taiji-ka ( i dunno what they're called) had proper sparring experience... then i would not put the odds on such a power based stagnant art.

  • This looks like sad stagnant aikido... i think I'll take Bagua or Xing yi instead...

  • why? I´m not saying you´re wrong, just qurious =)

  • @rsmick200 mma, mm yeah i would give the like of fedor less than 3 minutes to survive with this dude

  • this style is all about grip an speed

  • Remember there's no such thing as the ultimate fighting style... The martial arts are constantly evolving... what you are doing is fine to preserve an art form but would be reckless to think it's and effective way to defend one self in today's world of mma...

  • I have a little experience (25yrs. wrestling and martial arts) and I still consider my self always learning... When someone shows me a weak link in my technique I welcome the advice... If it's going to improve my ability to defend myself, I'm all for it...

  • You and your students work hard at what you do. This must be applauded. However the reality is that 80% of you techniques could not help you fight your way out of a wet paper bag... I'm calling it the way I see it... You don't need me to challenge my theory... just bring your self to the toughest neighborhoods in your area... You wont last more than a few seconds...
