In the Haloween films, Michael Myer's psychiatrist name is Dr. Samuel Loomis (Sam Loomis).

It's cool how John Carpenter, Debra Hill & Moustapha Akkad showed their respect & homage to the late Alfred Hitchcock by naming one of the main characters in their film "Haloween" after a character in "Psycho."

im 16 and when i was 6 or 7 i had just watched halloween for the first time ever and after that i went trick or treating with my brother and he told me to look at the ghost on a porch i looked and it was a life-sized manican of michael myers i yelled at the top of my lungs and ran as fast as i could into my cousin who was dressed as the shape with the knife and everything glaring at me (i didnt know it though until he took off the mask) my brother caught me and told me it was a halloween prank
