@willjamesgodd Her strong spritual powers and understanding of psychelocks make her great at her job, but she fails to understand that many people do not lie or keep secrets out of malicious intent, her heartwarming character arc would be her coming to understand and regain trust in people and their capacity to do good, as untill then she would consider herself alone, every being, except perhapse maya, sinister and a suspect and is desprate to cover her fear by getting convictions, even cheating

I'd actually quite like to see how pearl turns out in a later series like after appollo justice at which time she's 16. my guess is that the traumatising experiance with the fey fued and almost being responsable for mayas death would cause her to leave the kurain village. much like ema skye studying to be a forensic scientist, and mia a lawyer, pearl would study to become a private detective, obssessed with rooting out betrayal and deceit thanks to the vile actions of her mother.
