This arrangement is very special to me. I played the first trumpet part with my college brass ensemble at the commencement service for our graduation. It's a little nerve wracking when you have to hit the A above the staff. You're completely exposed there. The West Point Band is an elite Army ensemble. It's made up of NCOs. It's not a cadet band. The director of my college ensemble was himself a member of the band as a sergeant, and chose this arrangement for the service..

This is a gloriously majestic presentation by the phenomenal Diane Bish and the West Point Military Band. Thank you for such an invigorating posting.
This gave me goose bumps! A magestic and stirring arrangement, and beautifully played. Thanks for posting!

I love this arrangement: the fanfares, the trumpet descant, John Dowland's fauxbourdon harmony, the lot! And for my taste, the tempo is just right; it's often played a lot slower than this.
All it needs is people singing along :D
