Everyone! I made this from the sound clips I could find online. The limited number of lines is because I can't get any quotes from the game itself. I don't have the game on pc. And I don't have any way to record from my ps3. Also, I made this a long time ago. I haven't even played the game since I made this.

@KyleRuelling1 Well they did a cel-shaded thing with the second one. It is more reminiscent of its comic book origins. It's still brutal and bad ass though.

I see when I wrote my comment 1 year ago I was so excited because of Mike Patton. But man..they really fucked it up with the sequel. I don't know what they did or did not with his voice but it is in NO WAY as menacing, gut-wrenching and terrifying as in the first game. The voice was so full of variety in the first game. Whispering, talking normally, screaming. And the hissing sounds behind the voice. So many cool effects. The first game was overall so much better. I am so disappointed...

Mike Patton will reprise his role as the voice of The Darkness in The Darkness 2 this fall. It's confirmed. Fucking awesome!

My favourite quote is definitely the whispering "Go no further Jackie" when you approach the hills in the trenches, this game got the atmosphere down to a fucking point.

@LegatoBluesummers810 indeed, the voice is lower and deeper, more bass. Darkness 2 voice is a bit dissapointing, a bit too shallow

im pissed off at how the voice is in the second one as well BUT you COULD make the arguement that its because it knows jackie isnt afriad of him anymore and doesnt have to be menacing or sudective towards him anymore. also it could be that the stakes are raised hier sense they are fighting the brother hood (people that actualy COULD beat him) and the darkness HAD TO sense the angelus as well when at the end of the game you try to save jenny and he says"you know not what you do!"
