@Jerzchula2009 If the Bible was really divinely inspired, it would transcend eras. It would be so amazing, we couldn't help but accept it.
But what do we have instead? We have a book that endorses slavery, bigotry, misogyny, and murder.
If that's a book that's divinely inspired by an omniscient and omnipotent being, I'm very unimpressed.
It could have been inspired by any bronze age Arab farmer and it would be indistinguishable from what was supposedly divinely inspired.

@TheMoTucker in the context of the women not being able to speak was from tradition of the time people lived back then. Alot of things women werent able to do. It wasnt any different back then. The Bible will not be easy to understand if your reading with a close mind and closed heart. If you do not understand the Lord you will not understand his Word. But I pray that He will soften your heart and Open your eyes.
