I'm not sure this was the best role for her - she was probably shoehorned into any pants role available back then, without any regard to vocal suitability - but how any one can find her voice "boring" is beyond me!

I agree. And she's singing completely wrong lyrics, too.  Ma me'l dico al labbro almeno? No, it's "ma me'l DICA'l labbro almeno"

god, what a boring voice she had. so far back in the throat. so smallish sounding. not good.

I got it, of course, and it's a pleasure to hear and to see Flicka, Pavarotti, Cotrubas, Behrens, Alexander... in one of the best performances of this extraordinary opera, the best of the "operas serias" of Mozart.
