There has been a lot of critical ink spilt about Molly and her yeses. She and Gertie McDowell are two of my favorite characters in the novel, besides Bloom, of course. "Leopold Bloom ate with relish the inner organs of beasts and fowls." Like the first line of Gone with the Wind, for some reason this introduction to Bloom is unforgettable as are Molly's yeses.

Gee, Molly...Forget the 30s...Poldy thinks you're worth 5 guineas and a heck of a lot of trouble scrounging that ad.

So funny, so real...So loving...You can't help feeling Poldy made the right decision to let Molly have her bit of fun and trust it to Fate. I love to think of Boylan nervously prancing round for nine months only to see Poldy's dark eyes in Leo Jr.

Thank you very much for posting this. What was the name of the show so I can find a copy?

Thanks for your comment. It's actually a film rather than a show called Bloom.
