My first setup was put lot of tapes on my camera on the dashboard, then I decided to change it because it's just stupid (lol...) then my second setup was put my camera on passenger seat, on the top with support for head, between on body seat. Then now, I got gorillapod for $30 from Best Buy, and hang it on my mirror, it worked out very good, and I'm happy with it because you now can see very well.

NEWS: I have to use my dad's bigass 1999 GMC Yukon because my car (1995 Oldsmoblie Supreme Cutlass that my mom gave me) is just broken down last week ago. Got an flat tire, wipers broken in half, battery keep went out, engine sputters. So, my dad decided to give me his GMC Yukon (SUV) for while until my Toyota get ready for license.

  • @densle1 I think it's because the gorilla pad thing is upside down (the feet are wrapped around the rear-view mirror. That means that the tripod mount is facing down. The tripod mounting hole on the camera is on the bottom, which means you have to flip the camera in order to attach it to the gorilla pad.

  • thats cool! I didnt know cameras would do that cause mine didnt so I had to really look threw everywhere online! I got a cheap one kinda like that but it broke in a month! it was a suction cup tripod but had that reallly tight bendy thing! so then I went with specially made for dash cams that will work with camcorder! which it worked thank god but didnt work in every car! so I had to make choice to get a real dash cam since my cam wasnt working right! but what ever works is still good!

  • w8, why not just attack the camera right-side-up?

  • yukon isnt bigass its a fatty fat, fat fat *looks at car* thats right you are fat.*

    XD

  • Cool :O
