Hey guys, back again for the next installment of this mini series on the MoshPit! This time we talk about Individual Values otherwise known as IVs, and how they are probably the toughest thing to obtain for your pokemon. All relevant details about IVs is listed below:

-Every pokemon in the game has 6 IVs (one for each stat)
-These are randomly generated for pokemon you capture in the wild
-IVs will contribute towards increasing your stat to the maximum .
-IVs range from values of 0 - 31
-The number of the IV will boost your stat by that amount (e.g. 26 speed IVs will increase your speed stat by 26 points)
-Good IVs can be obtained by extensive breeding.
-Many players use the Pokesav program to give themselves maximum IVs far quicker.

@DotPkemon Base isn't the actual value, it's just a relative amount.

@Preeminence21 yeah but if you look at blissey, its base hp is 255 but in actuality with 31 ivs and no evs it has 620, thats what i dont understand

@DotPkemon Base is the foundation of a pokemon. If you invest 252 evs into HP, it will gain 63 more HP.
