Derby City Game Calls prostaffers Jim Dawson and Scott Cronin share with us how to create a great looking and durable turkey tail fan for your full strut decoy such as the Primos B-mobile or Pretty Boy
Great , This is something that a lot of people need to see. You can kill a turkey without it but you can kill more turkeys , more consistently bigger Toms with a real fan. I was useing real fans before they made decoys with fans. Thanks for getting this out there. A Retired Guide
Nice guys. I have been experimenting with salting the base of the tail. Then I silicone seal the tail fan in the open position. No air means no rot on the bit of meat that remains and silicone is nice an pliable after it cures. Real fan in the decoy drives toms nuts! They look so real from across a field!
i agree withthis, a real tial fan is much better, however, my friend and i used a pretty boy last year with no fan at all and had a tom struting up to it.
