Beatiful movie, unlucky it isn't traduced in italian and i had to see it subtitled, however it was astounding.

I remember this song from my childhood. My older brother would sing it often.

This movie is so gripping. Secret Sunshine got me onto Lee Chang-dong. It's a great movie but Peppermint Candy hits me a lot harder. It all depends on your prior experiences I guess and this movie resonated with me a lot more.

It's about lost innocence for the individual and the nation portrayed in a very realistic way. We need more brutally honest movies.
