@oldyogi23 The economy was awful, i think they got money for recycling the material. It would've been nice if they kept it though.

y did they scrap it????? did it get damaged beyond repair???? it is an awsome ship, like its sister titanic, they shoulda kept it from sinking by closing the chambers that needed to be closed, and that is a cool camouflage when the olympic became a troop ship

What I loved about the Olympic, is she sank the hell out of a german sub, rammed the hell out of it, plus, escaped a torpedo.
