The shaker on the eighth notes gives that kind of bossa feel but the the rim shot falls on beat four, the rhythm repeats every bar, not every 2 like bossa, bossa accents are on the 1, 2, 3and, 4and, 1and, 3, 4, then repeat, though there are variations. The bass accents are sort of the same as bossnova.
But I think we can safely say the rhythm is latinesque/bossanovaesque! Which is not surprising given the influence of bossanova on jazz and pop at time this was written! Hope that helps!
