Great sounding amp AJ. Willing to share design?
-
In all honesty, this is the best sounding amps I have EVER heard! A schematic would be awesome!
-
Your amp sounds awesome ;-)
-
That sound better than Eddie's amps.
You care to share the schematic?
-
Hi! I love this sound.
Is it possible to have more information about the schematic?

that thing sounds pretty damn good man!

Wow! Awesome tone!

great juice man! :) you really did it. but wit the mids all the way is better.
ps. i'm getting a slo clone, custom made, how difficult is to get the resonance on potenciometer? that is the most important thing for me on an amp. my ooomph comes from a modified engl 2x12(mine is rearloaded) with bass flat it shakes air conditioner unit. thanx if you answer :) keep up experimenting

@brbo101 I found out the voltages make a huge diff. in these type amps. gotta have pretty high - about 350vdc on nodes. this amp had lower voltage PT so ended up with a 50k plate res on stage 1. Gonna go back and redo all voltages for other stages on this to see if helps. I'm doing another sloclone type thing now from a Fender PA135 - ultralinear PT which is pretty cool for this type amp. KILLS. Post your sloclone clips - love them. I'll post the PA135 slo soon. Thanks!

hi, do you happen to have the scheme with the modifications made in this amplifier? Congratulations are very good.

I don't have a schematic, I just triedseveral well known designs- plexi, 2204, trainwreck, bogner but ended up with more of a soldano style preamp tho w/ some odd plate resistor values. Prob will rip this out and try something else soon. :) I like to just try out different things to see how they change the sound. Thnks.

Sorry, it was built from a 1950's audio amp of somekind and I don't have any specs on the trannies. Someone originally built a bassman clone and I took that and began playing with multi-stage designs. I like those old heavy iron trannies, sometimes you get good stuff, sometimes not but usually don't have a lot of info on them. thanks....
