no offense man, but theres a reason the dealer installed supercharger is under warranty.. it doesn't give you that much more power... i was thinking about doing the TRD supercharger, but then i realized that... im runnin stock now, savin for a Greddy turbo. TRD is great for the warranty but other than that, its alot of money for little power.

i'd like to add to this... a year later lol....

correct me if im wrong but the supercharger only gives you 20 more hp.. you can achieve the same result with an intake and a new crank pully... kinda.. but still for a HUGE fraction of the cost...

trd parts are a waste of money :) Im a tech at toyota, and can honestly say that the trd crap they sell.. is well... crap.. WAY over priced.. and crap

oh and just side note, toyota has their "blue logic" (blue tooth)... dont ever get it.

@tannerhughes11, look for my videos and educate yourself before posting. Just because you went to T Tein doesn't make you an expert, you have a long way for that and changing oil and giving tire rotations is not going to get you there. Besides your comments about 20hp that the tC gets from the TRD SC means crap to me, because all the proof that I need is on paper and well kept.

@tannerhughes11. 6 times the cost? Why don't you look for some videos of sc tc's beating turbo vehicles then post. It's better to know before typing junk, it will change your mind about sc tCs.

College in their "T-Ten" program, its only for Toyota techs. granted the lube bay isn't quite AS fun.. i still get into some other stuff in the main shop.. slowly progressing. so go call bullshit on someone else aight

@Jaylgo maybe you should have read that a little better... i said "kind of"... it doesn't make the exact same numbers... the supercharger just installed doesn't make that much, it puts it at about 180-190.. so 20-30 more hp... however if you play with it and turn up the psi you can get a little more out of it...

you have to think about the cost to power ratio... intake and pulley aren't very expensive.. but the SC is like 6 times the cost only to double what the intake and pulley would do..

@tannerhughes11, sorry but you're wrong about the supercharger making 20hp and pulley and intake making the same hp as the supercharger. The supercharger with the stock pulley and full exhaust will give you 200whp+ and about 190wtq. That was proven with my old set up. Now I make much more than that with my tune and 9.5psi pulley. And you're no toyo tech so STFU.
