I think the actual title of the song is the Warlock's Fife not Warlord's. Well that is how it is on the Celtic River cd. i'd assume warlord would make more sense since the fife is a battle instrument! lol

From one flute/fife player to the group...This is most definitely a flute...and a nicely played one at that! Back in the day, I would listen to guys like Ian Andersen and Tim Weisberg to learn how to hum a tone and play the same pitch on the flute. If you get a bit aggressive with your diaphragm and embouchure, you can "overdrive" the tones that start happening at around 1:18 in the track. They're strong effects...listen again at 3:00...Nicely done, but not over-done. Very tasteful playing!

緑色の丘陵を乾燥した空の中から見ている鳥になった、そんな気分
。 すばらしい、スピードと広がりを感じる曲です。
感動しました。

Hehe :] I love fifes!! I've got two and I've been playing since I was in grade 4. Our school had a fife band but we were never taught anything remotely close to that. We were taught like, turn on the sun, the national anthem and stuff.

This song has changed my life. Thank you Jeff Victor, don't ever change!
Very interesting pictures. I just have opened the world of wind instruments for me.

They are great, but not something I strive too much in . . . if I had to pick one it would be the mainstream flute we see today though. :D

I have no idea about fifes, pipes, flutes and so on, but I love this music.
