  • @JusRam1 He wanted to be popular with the black community

  • @JusRam1 Springsteen songs are all about politics if you bother to really listen to the lyrics. Politics isn't just far-too-expensive campains and people sitting at desks deciding, it's about the influence people have on their own lives.

  • @ProgressivePride That's why I get pissed when people like Bruce and Ted Nugent enter politics. They're great rockers, there's no need for political endorsements, just Rock N' Roll.

  • The best!!!

  • @JusRam1 I get that you don't want Bruce to get into political endorsments, thats fine. But I think that Obama isn't a bad guy even if he hasn't done what he promised he would do. So give Bruce a break and don't demonize Obama too much.

  • He is sooo damn fine. Absolutely the perfect man. Why oh why can't he be gay?

  • @hazor777 Yeah, i also wonder why Bruce started to support Obama. I mean originally Bruce didn't want to have anything to do with politics. I also hate politicians, they just lie to honest people. Everywhere around the world. That makes me sick. I understand that Bruce is against Bush-politics and a democrat, but he shouldn't support ANYONE, he should sing about how politicians fuck things up. The way he did in Born In The USA and in Ghost Of Tom Joad.

  • thanks you

  • This album is way overrated. It doesn't touch the stuff Springsteen had done earlier, or even some of his later records.
