  • The X-Files is must for any DVD collection :D The a really great set. MY X-Files set is one of my favorite things in my collection. I really like that the discs come in cases. In the R1 they come in book type things were the discs are just held held in sleeves which can scratch the discs.

Hope you had a good birthday and I hope you have a Merry Christmas :D

  • I love the R1 set, it looks really cool. The problem with the set I got is that if I try to pick it up or move it all the DVD cases start to fall out lol.

  • Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas,

You are by far, the greatest DVD collector/updater there is :D

  • Lol thanks! :D

  • That's cool about the guy recognizing you !

Awesome boxet. I bought Season 2 recently.

    Merry Christmas.

  • Season 2 is really good especially the finale episode!

  • @dubbinful I bought X files a while ago now and have stopped watching it around Season 4. Currently on season 4 of Babylon 5. IMO B5 has a story arch set in place and I am drawn in. However X files seems to have too many 'X-files' in my opinion with Mulder saying 'Is it possible' too often with silly monsters. I still enjoy it, don't get me wrong. But I will stick to B5 till I finish it.

  • @tomsmith100 hahahahahahahahahaha mate, babylon 5 is not a patch on x files, i have them both , id advise x files !!!! and yeah bsg is a absolutely phenomenal show, particuarly seasons 1-3 ! purchase 1-9 of x files n the movies its worth it pal

  • @tomsmith100 Two different types of tv series. I love the X-files and watched most of it when they showed it on tv here. I'm just watching Babylon 5 - I've watched the pilot movie and 5 episodes of season 1. I'm still skeptical on this show, it might take some time to really like it.

  • I'm one of the few that loved the final seasons. Even though it may not have had Mulder throughout, I loved the different stories it told.

  • I'm deciding whether to buy The X Files or Babylon 5? Any opinions? Just finished watching new Battlestar Galactica on BD. AWESOME

  • @seanwray1 no, because you don't know what the condition of the discs will be like, if you do buy second hand make sure you buy instore like cex because then you can inspect the discs before you decide to hand over your money, also make sure all the discs are there too. on amazon marketplace user sway2046 is selling them for £91 inc postage but ask him for pictures first, if u don't trust try cex website and check stock levels in ur local area.

  • @HUYI1 okay but on amazon they have quite a few on there. But preowned ones are below 100 and new ones are nearly 200 so should i buy it second hand? What would you do if you didnt have the set? would you buy it preowned?

  • @seanwray1 at hmv instore, the offer is long gone now though, i don't think you can buy them anymore (instore that is) you may have to look around.

  • @scottyboy292 ive found it on amazon for £70 something now and thats second hand. But what would be better: buying it pre owned for uner £100 or brand new for nearly £200. Did you buy it preowned?
